NKU BFA Exhibition 2024
Create a poster for the Northern Kentucky University (NKU) BFA Senior Exhibition 2024, showcasing the senior shows of all the majors within the School of the Arts (SOTA) Art & Design department. The NKU BFA Senior Exhibition Poster is built on the concept of 'Different Perspectives,' celebrating the diverse artistic voices within the School of the Arts. Each major, from Graphic Design to Fine Arts, Photography, and Sculpture, offers a distinct way of seeing and expressing the world. This individuality gives their work meaning, while the exhibition finds unity in their shared artistic vision.
The design plays with abstract forms, varied layouts, and layered imagery to symbolize the many ways NKU students see and interpret the world through their art. Bold typography anchors the design while allowing space for diverse visual elements to coexist, creating a flexible system that balances individual expression with unified branding. Design explorations through 4 posters show the range of design directions and how the design can evolve with the main concept, authentically representing the diverse yet connected nature of the senior exhibition.
