Create a film title sequence.
Thread is built on the concept of the 'Thread of Generation,' following my personal story of family connections woven through time. The narrative traces Mai Tran from childhood to old age, inspired by my own memories of Hoi An, where the glow of lanterns reflects the warmth of family bonds. Through the visual metaphor of threads, the sequence captures how love, tradition, and memory hold strong across generations, even when stretched by distance and change."
The film title sequence uses abstract blurred forms that flow like water and thread, creating organic movements that mirror the gentle movement of water lanterns and delicate embroidery. Typography appears with the thread flow through all daily objects reminded Mai about her home. The color palette draws from the warm, golden light of Hoi An's lanterns, with abstract shapes that fade in and out like memories, creating an intimate atmosphere where text materializes alongside flowing threads that emphasize the continuing story across generations.
