A Day in the Life of a Design Student
Ever wondered what a typical day looks like for a design student? The truth is, it can vary wildly! Some days are filled with lectures and critiques, while others are spent hunched over a computer, bringing design ideas to life.
Here's a sneak peek into a recent day for me:
Morning: Wake up at 9 am and start working on my part-time job.
Lunch Break: Sketching ideas for a design project. Inspiration can strike anywhere, so I always carry a sketchbook! ✏️ Later, I head to class for either interaction design or techniques in design. Currently, I’m learning about design printing techniques!
Afternoon: Heading to another studio class till 6 pm.
Evening: Having dinner with my housemates and work on design homework. I’m a night owl so I usually worked on my work at night.
This is just a snapshot, of course. But hopefully, it gives you a sense of the dynamic and creative world of graphic design education!
Stay tuned for future posts where I'll delve deeper into specific design projects, share my favorite resources, and offer advice to aspiring designers!
